Today we played our weather delayed LGU Medal in very tough conditions. The course is recovering well after the wet weather that has made life difficult, some of the fairways have dried out and the rough is coming good. The wind today would have helped but the couple of showers
Need some hot weather to help dry out the course, and no rain of course. Heavy going today as per the scores. Winners to day Div I were Geoff Johnston 36 pts c/b. Div 2 went to Greg Seymour with 38 pts. Runners up we’re Jim Cardoo with 36 pts
I was there Max and in harmony with Denise all day. Marlene has a very nice nature and was very tolerant of my errant shots. Our group had a very enjoyable day. Congratulations to the 2019 Club Mixed Foursome Champions – Denise and Tink. Well done guys, you teamed well.

Well we started out okay, until the eighth hole and for 3 minutes of heavy rain, we plodded around the rest of the holes. No rain since, so let’s hope the drainage is good and we have a soft course for the Mixed Championship. Only 52 members played today. There
