Sorry about the delay writing this up, I have been wearing one of my other hats for the last 4 days – grandmother!!
So back to Golf ,we were so lucky to have such a lovely day on Thursday everything went according to plan , no rain, plenty of sun , the course was in great condition we had a good field I’m sure everyone had a good day. We had a free day , all you had to pay was one dollar for the Pro Pin and buy a drink. Barry provided us with a great lunch, Gourmet Sandwiches and hot chips, and the winners of each match won a ball also those who squared their game. All NTPs were also given out as balls on the day. There was a slight discrepancy in the scoring for the day, my fault I didn’t read the board properly and said that Myra’s team had won, when it was actually a draw!! So the trophy stays in Myra’s hands as her team won it last year!!
Thankyou to everyone for getting into the spirit of the day and getting dressed in your green and pink . Maybe next year we could expand on that and have a bit of a dressup theme!!
This Thursday we have our 5th Monthly Medal sorry I didnt get organised in time to tell Barry to set the sheet up in grades. Only one more to go in August!!
A few of our ladies have had Covid over the last few weeks so we wish them well. we have to keep up our covid safe practises and continue to follow the health recommendations for the good of all .
