Rain threatened to spoil our golf day but thought better of it and gave up after a few early sprinkles. The day turned out to be ideal for golf and there were some great scores returned.
Winners were Marlene Wyatt and Fran Janes who scored a wonderful 51points. Runners Up were Diane Hughes and Doreen Leopold who had a combined score of 46 points. Well done ladies.

Yesterday we said farewell to our Treasurer Ray Tume. It was a big and lovely funeral wiith lots of golfing members attending. Ray was a true gentleman and he will be missed by the golfing fraternity of Club Banora. RIP Ray.
Greeted this morning with some showers which was welcomed but alas it didn’t last long. Second round of the Championship with only 76 players attending.
