Fixture book change

Some changes for you.

Sunday 16th July will be a Texas, Rules will be ‘no rules’, no drives to count and play every hole as a Texas. It is the game that was to play on 6th Aug and has been brought forward.

Sunday 6th August will now be a Single Stableford

Sunday 23rd July will be another Texas but this time under the rules in the book

Sunday Event, Mixed Foursomes

Presentation for the Mixed Foursomes will be in the Island house at around 4.30. We have a nice meal planned for those who have paid their money to play or come to the Dinner. As usual, we will have the normal ‘Sunday Spin the Wheel’ raffle as well as a new house of cards raffle and a donated goods raffle. So feel free to donate something worth winning. You will be getting a lot for your $20, so please buy lots of raffle tickets on the night so we can continue to provide these terrific events.

PROTECTION OF GOLF COURSE

With all the bad weather and rain we have had,the course is still wet and muddy on most of the course.I would ask all golfers to take extra care when they drive motorised carts. Please avoid all wet spots and try to stay on the fairways and cart paths and keep out of the rough as much as possible, especially the soft and wet areas.Keep carts outside BLUE lines and 15 meters from the greens this includes the back and sides of the green.Do not drive over tees or wet/damaged area to right side of  ladies 11th tee box.

If any player is seen or reported driving contrary to these conditions they may be disqualified from the daily competition and if a repeat offender will have their CART privileges suspended or excluded from playing golf at Club Banora for a period of time.

Please remember that this is ALL OUR COURSE and to keep it in the best condition for us to play on we must ALL look after it,if you see a divot please fill it in,a plug mark repair it,it only takes a few seconds and if we all do this then we will be playing on pristine fairways and greens.

We all come here to enjoy our Golf please show some respect for your course and fellow golfers.
