The Secretary, Penny Martlew has completed the preparing of the 2016/7 Annual Report.
Thank you for your work and also to the other Committee Members who contributed to the publication content.
Members are reminded that the AGM will be held at 2 pm on 18 March in the Island House. Members are encouraged to attend the AGM and to enjoy time together after the meeting. The AGM is time best time to have a say in the operation of the Golf Club for the year ahead.
Members will be asked to vote on Members Representative / Vice Captains, an issue carried forward from the March 2016 AGM. Details of the motion are in the Annual Report.
Uncontested nominations were received by the Secretary for President (Ken Culpitt), Vice President (Rosie Connolly) and Treasurer (Ray Tume).
No nominations were received for the position of Secretary and the President looks forward to discussing the Secretary role with any interested member.
The Golf Management Committee will fill the vacant position as soon as possible after the AGM.
The Committee is awaiting the AGM decision on the Vice Captains before progressing action on the vacant Men’s Representative position.
Bookings are open for the competition fee-free 7.30 am for 8 am shotgun start medley competition which is limited to the first 76 bookings.
