Next Saturday is Gentlemen Three Putt Club Hams Day. Ray Holmes Memorial. Two Man Ambrose. Winners and Runners up receive a Ham each. MUST be present in the Half Way House to receive the prize. If not Prizes will go to the next runner up.
If there is no comp on Sunday due to inclement weather the celebration is still on!!!!

We will be having our normal raffles and dinner Draw and presentations before dinner. Dinner will be served approx. 5.45
There will also be Xmas raffle tickets on sale and these will be drawn later in the evening. Max says we can have a couple of hams this year.

Christmas arrived at Club Banora with a bang today. The lovely Santa Shirts were every colour you could think off with red being the choice of many teamed with with white shorts. Buggies were decorated with lots Of tinsel and sparkled in the sunny conditions. The wind came up very strongly mid morning and bits and pieces of tinsel found its way onto the fairways!!
The course was in beautiful condition and made for enjoyable playing. Thankyou Rodger and your band of workers for the effort that has gone into the greens, they are running beautifully.
Thankyou to my Committte for the effort put into making the day so successful, the room was decorated beautifully and the array of raffle prizes was mouth watering. There were many happy winners !! Thanks also to Dotty Gronn for her wonderful DVD which depicted 2018 golf at Club Banora, lots of laughs and memories.
Thanks to Twin Towns Events team who supplied our wonderful main meal and followed up with delicious deserts.The usual staff at the Island House were as obliging as ever.

The Xmas Party has arrived and it was one of the best 🎉 🎈 parties I have had the pleasure of organizing and attending. I hope all the members felt the same. The day was excellent to play golf in, not too hot, overcast but no rain. The food was excellent, thanks to the Chef and her aid. The tables were filled with Xmas decorations thanks to Santa’s Elves, Pauline Ryan and Liz Edwards. My MC Ray Tume did a great 👍 job, Stuart Melling and Wayne Muir, on the raffle tickets excelled in sales. The raffle in itself was huge, with donations from the following people.
Wayne Muir, Ray Tume, Dave Harrod, Ken Culpitt, Steve Wilkinson and Barry Horton. Thankyou all for your contributions. Two more thankyous, Ken Culpitt for all the work he does behind the scenes, and the Twin Towns staff who worked the bar, and the room. Last but not least is Clint Dunn (Dunny). I not only thank him for the help on the day, but for all the whole year. I have to tell him that he has to put up with me😂😇 for 2019 also.
